Boulder Woodwind Repair

All levels of woodwind repair service are available. Minor to major repairs all receive the same high-level care and attention in Greg's repair shop.

Greg's vast repair knowledge and performance experience coupled with an extensive array of woodwind repair tools and woodwind repair parts, enables Boulder Woodwind Repair to provide all types of care for all flutes, saxophones,  clarinets, oboes, and bassoons:  pad cleaning and replacement; adjustments; corks; felts; springs; soldering; dent removal; mechanical repairs and reconditioning; clean/oil/adjust; overhaul; restoration; and much more.

Greg has trained with David and Joel Straubinger at their shop/school in Indianapolis, and is Straubinger Certified.

Common brands of flutes that come through the Boulder Woodwind Repair include: Altus, Armstrong, Emanuel, Gemeinhardt, Haynes, Lamberson, Miyazawa, Muramatsu, Powell, and Yamaha. BWR provides care for all types of flutes.

Drop-Offs and Pick-Ups offered in Boulder or at Greg LaLiberte Studios, 15 minutes west of Boulder in Four Mile Canyon.

$95/hour shop fee

Inquire for COA (clean oil adjust) and Overhaul (full pad replacement) pricing on student, intermediate and professional instruments.

Other/Additional charges include (hourly rate applies): 

• excessive cork & felt work
• excessive cleaning work
• major mechanical repairs (binding keys, bent & broken parts, soldering, pad replacements, head joint cork replacement)
• pad replacement (included in overhauls)
