ginga

"Ginga has been dazzling audiences with the captivating rhythms and energy of traditional Brazilian music for over a decade. Cultivated in Boulder, Colorado and comprised of some of the best  jazz, classical, and salsa musicians on the Front Range, Ginga is THE powerhouse Brazilian band in Colorado. They can bring an audience to a quiet purr with a sultry Bossa Nova or blow the roof off the evening with a full blown Carnival-style samba dance party.

"The six members of the band are Francisco Marques (cavaquinho,  bass, percussion, vocals), Greg LaLiberte (flute, saxophones, percussion, vocals), Bill Kopper (acoustic 6  & 7 string guitars, electric guitar, vocals), Raoul Rossiter (drums,  percussion, vocals), Vincent  Gonzalez (percussion, vocals), and Bill McCrossen (bass)."

Brazilian Quarter

Also known as Brazil Quarter, the Ginga Quartet is a 4-piece Brazilian band comprised of members of Ginga. Playing a wide variety of instrumental Brazilian music such as Bossa Nova, Choro, Baião, and Brazilian Jazz, their music inspires audiences to listen and dance, ideal for private parties, clubs, festivals, and concert settings.
